Andy Etchebarren - Manager
Etchebarren, 66, has close ties with Orioles Hall of Famer Brooks Robinson. The two were teammates for 13 years, including the 1966 and 1970 World Series championship teams. Etchebarren had a 15-year career in the major leagues and was twice selected an All-Star (1966 and 1967). He also has 11 seasons of experience as a minor league manager with the Orioles organization, managing at all levels from Rookie to Triple-A. He has managed the Bluefield Orioles (Rookie, Appalachian League), the Frederick Keys (Class A-Advanced, Carolina League), the Bowie Baysox (Double-A, Eastern League), the Rochester Red Wings (Triple-A, International League) and the Aberdeen Ironbirds (Short-Season A, New York-Penn League). Prior to becoming the Revs' skipper, Etchebarren served as bench coach and advisor to manager Butch Hobson of the Atlantic League's Southern Maryland Blue Crabs.

Mark Mason, Pitching Coach
Mason brings 22 seasons of coaching experience at the collegiate and professional level to the Revolution. He comes to York from western Pennsylvania, where he was most recently the manager of the Washington Wild Things of the independent Frontier League. Mason’s accomplishments in the Frontier League are numerous, having worked with three separate organizations in that circuit. His first stint in Washington began in 2002 as pitching coach, where he remained for three seasons. In 2005, he became manager of the Ohio Valley Red Coats, and was named Frontier League Manager of the Year in his lone season as skipper of the travel team. In 2006, Mason returned to Washington as pitching coach, before taking the managerial reins of the Chillicothe Paints, also of the Frontier League. He managed the Paints for two seasons before joining the Wild Things for a third stint, this time as manager. Mason’s pitching staffs led the Frontier League in wins in 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2006.

Before joining the pro game, Mason spent 16 seasons from 1987 through 2002 as the head baseball coach at Washington & Jefferson College in Washington, PA.

Enohel Polanco, Player-Coach
The Revolution established a franchise-first when Andy Etchebarren tabbed Polanco as the team’s first ever “player-coach”. In his role, he’ll assume a spot on Etch’s bench as a member of the coaching staff, while also holding an active roster spot as a Revolution infielder. With Polanco, the Revolution have a respected veteran whose Atlantic League ties run deep. The 2010 season is his eighth in the league, and the Revolution are his sixth Atlantic League team. Polanco played for Etchebarren with Southern Maryland the last two years, and also split last season between Newark and Bridgeport, batting a combined .286 with two homeruns and six stolen bases in 55 games. For his entire Atlantic League career, Polanco has hit a combined .295 (294-for-995) in 281 games, with 15 homers and 39 steals. Polanco began his pro career in 1995 in the Mets organization, and has also suited up in the Cubs, Indians, Marlins, and Rockies farm systems, reaching Triple-A with Cleveland and Florida in 2000.
