Tails are wagging all over York County! The Revolution have launched the “Dog Days 5-Pack” for the upcoming season. The package includes lawn tickets for you and your pooch to attend all five Sunday “Bark in the Park” games together at a discounted price, along with two special commemorative SPCA and Revolution-branded dog bowls. The entire package costs just $50, with $10 from each “Dog Days 5-Pack” purchased being donated to the SPCA.
“We’ve bundled up the ticket plan as part of this year’s efforts with the SPCA” said Matt O’Brien, General Manager of the Revolution. “We strive to be family entertainment. This package just accommodates the family dog.”
Sunday, April 25 is the first date included in the “Dog Days 5-Pack”. Capping opening weekend, fans can bring their well-mannered dog to the game (or vice versa). The Appalachian Air Canines, a frisbee-playing dog group, will perform that day as well.
The second date is Sunday, May 16, with the Fly Ball Dog Exhibition headlining that day. Dog lovers won’t want to miss this performance, where groups of dogs compete in relay races on the field.
Sunday, July 18 is Dog Day #3. It marks the return of the Summit Search & Rescue Bloodhounds, who fans may recall from their appearance last season, when they wowed the crowd by famously sniffing out a hiding Travis Phelps. What will they have in store for an encore performance?
Dog Day #4 is set for Sunday, August 8. This date will feature our Pet Vendor Show, an opportunity to set up a marketing table along the concourse for any pet-related business, with a crowd full of pet-owners in attendance.
The final date for the “Dog Days 5-Pack” is Sunday, September 5. The Revs will wear special SPCA jerseys, presented by Heritage Valley Federal Credit Union, which will be auctioned off during the game. Proceeds will benefit the York County SPCA. After the game, players will present their jerseys straight off their backs to the winning bidders.
