(June 11, 2021, York, Pa.) — PeoplesBank Park announced today that it will host Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA) 5A and 6A baseball semifinal games on Monday, June 14. 

 

The two-game event will begin at 4 p.m. when 6A contenders Spring Ford and North Allegheny square off at the home of the York Revolution. Game two will begin at 7 p.m. or 30 minutes after game one, when 5A contender Manheim Central will take on Red Land.

 

“This is exactly the kind of thing our ballpark was created for,” said York Revolution General Manager John Gibson. “We are much more than just pro baseball games. PeoplesBank Park was created to be a place for all kinds of events and celebrations, and we are excited to use this great resource to shine a professional-caliber spotlight on more of our state’s talented high school athletes.”

Gates will open at 3:30 p.m. Free parking is available in the ballpark’s Queen Street or Brooks Robinson Drive parking lots as well as at Small Field.
